The northern Adirondacks and St. Lawrence River Valley in New York State are home and source of most subjects in Suzanne's drawings and watercolors.
Her work explores the constant originality in nature by finding composition and order amidst the tangles and disarray. In the seasons, she finds compelling atmospheric, transitions in ever-changing waters, skies and landscapes.
Influenced very early by teacher, artist and friend, Robert Plumb, she continues to appreciate and share the unique visual qualities of the North Country in her work.
